Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HisabX ("Service", "we", "us"), a product of HisabX Technologies with registered office in Pune, Maharashtra, India, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these Terms, do not create an account or use the Service.

2. What HisabX is

HisabX is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for petrol/diesel retail outlets. It lets a dealer digitise their daily HISAB register, verify shift-close cash reconciliation, manage credit customers, generate GST-ready invoices, run OCR on printer receipts, and receive AI-generated operational insights.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorised to bind the business you represent.
  • You must register with accurate details. Impersonation of a third-party dealer, OMC, or CA is a breach of these Terms and applicable Indian law.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your PIN, password or OTP with anyone — including HisabX staff. We will never ask for them.
  • You must promptly inform us of any unauthorised access at security@hisabx.in.

4. Ownership of your data

All business data you enter into HisabX — HISABs, cashbook entries, customer statements, staff attendance, uploaded photos, and derived reports — remains yours. We process it strictly to deliver the Service. You may export your full dataset any time from Data · Backup & Reset.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not use HisabX for illegal purposes, tax evasion, or to falsify statutory records.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform.
  • Do not upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Photos uploaded (selfies, slip images, receipts) must be genuine, unedited, and lawfully obtained.
  • Do not use HisabX to send spam or unsolicited messages via WhatsApp/SMS/Telegram integrations.

6. Free trial and subscription fees

New dealers get a 6-month free trial with full functionality. After the trial, plans and prices are shown at /pricing. Fees are quoted in INR and exclusive of GST unless stated. Payment failure may result in a grace period followed by feature restriction; we will notify you before any suspension.

7. Third-party services

HisabX integrates with third parties (Resend for email, Twilio for WhatsApp, Emergent object storage, Sentry, Google/Gemini AI). Your use of those integrations is subject to their own terms. We do not sell your data to any of them.

8. AI-generated insights

AI insights (anomalies, expense hints, product mix advice) are generated by large language models on the raw operational data of your pump. They are decision-support, not decision-making. You remain solely responsible for business decisions taken on the basis of any AI output.

9. Financial records disclaimer

The numbers HisabX shows are for your operational reference. Statutory bookkeeping, GST filings, and audits remain your responsibility. Reconcile HisabX reports against your official records before any government submission.

10. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose beyond its documented functionality. To the extent permitted by Indian law, our aggregate liability for any claim (contract, tort or otherwise) shall not exceed the fees paid by you to HisabX in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Suspension & termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice. We may suspend or terminate immediately if you (a) breach these Terms, (b) engage in fraudulent activity, or (c) fail to pay fees due. On termination you may export your data; we may permanently delete residual data after 90 days.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via in-app banner and email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra. Nothing here removes your rights under mandatory consumer-protection laws applicable in your state.
